Mister Twister Posted February 1, 2015 Share Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) I just finished this one recently with a modified Revell Chassis pan, scratchbuilt cage, coil overs and so on. It has Model Master paints and a combo of Slixx and Revell decals. Lots of PE and some resin pieces also. This chassis is from a Monogram Bob Glidden pro stock kit. It takes a considerable amount of work to make it fit compared to the Revell pro sportsman. I called the paint Model Master Andrew, but it is actually Testors lacquer no. 1840 Flaming Orange over Dupli-Color grey primer. Thanks Bob.....On this chassis from a pro stock kit it did require some modifications because its putting a 1/24 pan into a 1/25 body. I cut the entire wheel tub section off of the pan and removed a 1/4 inch section from the wheel tubs (because the tubs are too tall to fit up into the body) and reattached it to the pan. I also cut off the trunk area floor and cut a new piece of plastic for that as well. The front frame rails were also shortened (length and height wise) and I scratched a new roll cage and wheelie wheels. I didn't have to narrow the pan as it fit just fine width wise. Thanks! Really cool Drag Car that is something not everyone has built. Smooth paint work and nice detailing in that engine bay. I like that scoop as well.
