as of 5/21/2014 new dot physical requirments, if your bmi is 35 or higher or your neck is 17 inches or bigger, you must enroll in a sleep study to test for sleep apnea, if you fail sleep study you must use a monitored cpap machine all at your own cost. the health police are after us!

california is about to kill truckin here, 09 and older trucks will be required to have big catalytic converters on them by end of next year. (it`s called a dpf, but same thing) even if you`re from another state. cost anywhere from 10,000 to 20,000 per unit! i have an 05 volvo with only 70,000 miles, passes every test thrown at it. to bad, still gotta get it. lots more in new rules but can`t stand to think about it. california and small business is gonna die here! thanks for letting me rant.

anybody have a simple tutorial for straight axle gasser style front ends?

same idea, it was a small sleeper c/o. with a much cleaner setup for the front. was a long time ago & and a butt load of miles.

don`t know why started thinkin bout this. been drivin truck around calif. and parts unknown! since early 70s (still am). any way back in late 70s early 80s used to see a truck runnin around that was a cab over with long nose hood, cab sat low on chassis so top of hood was even w/where top of c/o grill would have been. never caught the guy on the ground so, never talk to him about it. any way just wonderin if anybody else from back then saw it.
