Clay
Ok Kevin, listen, not trying to be a ###### but use the internet, google is your friend, put hemi 440 big block into the search engine and it will find it for you, or use the website I put on your last 1:1 refrence want. Then if you cant find it then come here. It will go much faster if you use your resources. Edited July 27, 2008 by jones_clayton

george 53
Kev, There IS NO 440 Hemi big block.Factory Hemis Are ALL 426(64/71) 440's are ALL RB blocks(Raised Blocks) due to their higher cylinder deck heights. Parts are NOT interchangeable between the two. You either have a Hemi, or a 440 RB block, But not a mix of the two.UNLESS, of course, your BIG BUCKS UP, then you can have ANYTHING your heart desires! BigGary
Don't be too hard on him guys. A 426 big block could also be a '63 stage III wedge Super Stock engine, or the 426 wedge engines that were available in '63-65 Coronets and Belvederes before the GTX and R/T came along in '67. In '65 I was at Kingdon Drag Strip near Stockton, CA. It was a big Super Stock day and many of the West Coast SS notables were there, Dick Landy, Gas Rhonda, and a few others. There was one unfortunate soul who showed up in a stock, street driven '64 Plymouth Satellite with a 426 4-barrel wedge. They put him in Super Stock. His first race was against Gas Rhonda's Thunderbolt. Rhonda let him have about a 10 car length head start, then blew by him at the top end. He never had a chance. Spike
there is a company that makes hemispherical (sp, big word for me ) heads for 440s. but otherwise ya, its either a 440 or a 426 hemi. and the plug wires will run the same on either a performance or stock motor so what are you lookin for kevin? a 426 hemi has the plug wires in the valve cover hera a hemi wired up except the coil which i gotta add yet
