Scratch build material

Recommended Posts

Hey there, I am new to the forum and have been checking out alot of the projects that people have been working on and i must say, great job on all of them, the realism is just beyond belief, keep up the great work!

Now for the main question at hand. I see alot of people scratch building alot of there parts and I am just wondering where they pick up the materials? For exapmle simple sheets of thin plastic?

Thank you in advance for all of your help and suggestions

James

Any hobby shop that carries Evergreen, or Plastruct should have sheets of styrene available. Around Toronto there are several good stores. Johns photo/Hobby on the Danforth, Hornet Hobbies on O'Conner, Georges Trains on Alden in Markham are some of the larger stores.
