horsepower
The Chevy belair 409 kit has the 409 in it. The only external difference on all the W motors is the dipstick location and inlet manifolds. It not noticeable on our scale, but the other difference is there is an X cast in the block (raised) under the passenger side cylinder head, it's about two inches tall & quite prevalent on the full size engines. Bottles are scrap clear sprue and the chip bags were a fellow club member donation(thanks Gene). Local grocery store name is Martin's..used Woodland Scenics rub on letters for the name. Joker
Thanks Y'all.. Well I taped up the body for the Dupli-Color Bahama Blue Metalic..sadly the weather isn't cooperating. The background pix is of a 56 Chevy I found in one of my Rod and Custom magazine. I also made some laminated knobs in clear blue and white styrene. I scored some clear blue tubing at a club meeting for .99 cents. We hold our meetings at Hobby Town here in the Ol' Dominion. Joker

Gluhead
Ouch! Hate that... Oddly enough, I painted this kit the same colors back when it first came out...and was also visited by Mr. Murphy in nearly the same fashion. Looks good, though. I really like the taillight treatment.
