Jared Roach
Very Nice looking Charger. I built the srt8 awhile back and it was a great build. Really nice color and clean build.
Mr. Moparman
Great Daytona! McNally's ready to go now! And it will make Classic Plastic right? Check out my finished Daytona, http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=35491 Edited September 19, 2010 by Master Modeller
Clay
I have loved this build since you started it. It has made me want to go and finish my Charger(s). Great job and I can't wait for the next one!!
W-409
It's very nice, I don't like new cars... This body is not looking good, but model is built very nicely!!! That painjob is awesome and engine looks good only that cover made from plastic? is not nice. But it's on the 1:1 cars, I think. Am I wrong...? Don't know. But after all it's very nice model from retro Charger.
mrmike
Thanks everyone! Brandon, yes, it will make the show today! Clay, the next one is Spenser's '67 Mustang GT from the TV movie, Spenser A Savage Place. Nico, I'm sorry that you don't like new cars and I'm sure that everyone has their favorite era or year of car. I do like many different eras of cars and building those eras helps keep my builds different and new to me. And, yes, the engine cover is on the new cars now. I used it since it was in the model kit and it is part of the 1:1 car.

charlie8575
I saw this one in the plastic today, folks. It's as good as it looks. And Mike is a very nice guy. If you have the opportunity to venture to our little corner of the world, make sure you introduce yourself. Charlie Larkin
mrmike
Brandon, I didn't pick up anything at the Classic Plastic show. Due to other obligations, I arrived too late to enter the contest. I did show McNally's Mustang and Charger on the open display table which was fine with me and I did receive some very positive comments. W-409
Well, I has to say that some of new cars are looking ok. For example '99 Chevrolet Impala SS (don't know what you think, but I think that it's quite new car...). That Chevy is looking pretty good and that 2010 retro Challenger is looking quite ok. But with this Charger, I don't like that frontend and new Camaro (mean 2010) is not looking good either, don't know what's wrong with it. My favourites are maybe cars on the fifties or sixties... That's true that builds are different if you (or me or everyone) builds old and new cars. I have one very different project; Renault Alpine... Haven't seen that engine cover before, 'cause I have not ever took a close look to new car engine. But your model looks nice, new or not! mrmike
Thanks mikeD1! The coffee cup is actually a shortened magneto from my parts box. It had the shape of a coffee cup with cover and it was painted accordingly. Thank you Nico!
