Mongram 36 Ford

Okay here it is. Does not hold a candle to the ones I have seen on here but it is my first attempt at a "salt" paint job. The kit is a Mongram 36 Ford from the early iron series. The motor came from the parts box and the wheels and tires came from the Revell 30 Ford woody (Good Guys) kit. I also tried to make the top look more realistic by covering it with tissue paper soaked in a white glue/water mix before I painted it. Did not come out quite like I had envisioned it but did not feel it looked bad either. I learned alot on this build and will try this "salt" trick again. On a side note I would have never thought to try this if it wasn't for this forum and the people here. Living in Oklahoma this is as close to a model club I can get. My thanks to Gregg and everyone here who keeps this forum going.
