Jairus
The model kit is rare and expensive if you can find one. Here I have illustrated the famous show car with a figure in period clothing and look. Enjoy! This image is currently available on eModelCars.com!
mikelo
Very nice. I remember that car. I'm not sure if my dad has that kit or not. So is that digital?
Jairus
Thank you Mike. No not digital, that is a scan of a painstakingly hand drawn, inked and acrylic airbrushed painting. It is suitable for framing at 22" x 18" on cold rolled Strathmore bristol.
Harry P.
Looks like it was pretty cold out that day...
mikelo
Very nice. How did you get such a good scan, and so big?
Jairus
Mike, Maybe I have a big scanner? Actually, that was scanned four times and pasted together in Photoshop. Not an easy process because most scanners don't pull the image perfectly each time.... but that is how I did it.
mikelo
Thanks. I work for an archetect who is having problems scanning some of my renderings that are about 22x34. I just figured Kinkos would have been able to do it.
