CJ1971
I think the Magnum is the most modern wagon kit available.... Kinda sucks really, when you consider what else ( modern ) could be kitted.
Rob Hall
Not many modern wagons left in 1:1, at least in the NA market. There are a few European wagons around today, pretty much nothing from the US or Asia anymore...
CJ1971
They seem to be coming back in style across the globe, except as you've said, NA. Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, VW, Volvo, BMW, Mazda, Toyota & Subaru all make wagons, yet besides the old versions of the Volvos & Subarus, no new wagon kits? 1930fordpickup
Good catch Art . I looked right past those Ugly tri 5 Chevy's , and that is the only body style of those I like. I was not sure about the 60 Hubley .
Ace-Garageguy
I've always kinda lusted after the Hubley '60 ford, but I've stayed away after hearing there's an odd scale issue...like it's bigger even that 1/24. Any truth to that?

Any truth to that? I've got one, but never have put calipers to it, but in just scoping it out, it appears to be VERY close to 1/24 scale (of course, the '60 Ford was the biggest (widest) Ford produced up to that point in time. Oh, and PMC (Product Miniatures Company) produced very basic, knocked down promo's with no glass nor interiors in kit form: 1957 Ford Country Squire, and 1959 Ford Ranch Wagon. The family of a grade school friend of mine had a 58 Chevy wagon with Nomad trim. My grandma had a 61 Chevy Nomad wagon. I have seen 70 Chevelle wagons with the Nomad nameplate on it.On a different note - why is everyone listing wagons when the link is to a LIST OF WAGON KITS !!!! unclescott58
I question whether hearses, ambulances, and sedan deliveries count as station wagons. And Nomad was the top of the line 4-door Chevy wagon from 1958 through 1961. In '68 the name was attached to a low line Chevelle wagon through '72. There were even special versions of Chevy's G series vans in the late 70's using the Nomad name. Scott
zenrat
This is an AMT Jr Trophy Series '60 Chevy Wagon. One of those rare moments where no one else seemed to realise what the Evil-Bay seller had.
