Dave McFly Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 I did this last april in 48 hours and entered it in the tv/movie section at a model show shortly after. Other than using a light bar from the revell snap tite Impala Police Car (painted black over the chrome and amber over the clear white lenses), the kit is box stock. Painted in Flat Black with Gloss Grey for the interior. I had to de-chrome the wheel covers to paint them the flat black and the engine parts to paint them aluminum to match the aluminum paint used for the block and heads etc. I just gotta say this is a HORRIBLE kit as far as final assembly, I will NEVER build a front drive car based model again :x . Here are the pictures, they turned out nice. I am also doing a model of the cop car used in the TV show that looks like this: I have it in paint (flat black over grey primer two tone) and I have the V shaped light bar and a set of tv accurate decals custom printed.
