george 53
Looks good Ponch! I like the colors an the convertable look is cool with that style. Is it resin, or did you convert it? Nice job!
pancho1969
Thanks for the reply george. I converted it from the hard top. I used the uptop from the 65 impala and the boot I got from the parts box

nails3825
Sweet paint! That must've taken a few years My hands shake way too much to be attempting something as intricate as that... I'm impressed!
Modlbldr
That is a beautiful job. I love the paint and the interior and trunk detail. You do outstanding work. If I may offer one criticism, or advice? Try using soda can aluminum for things like the glove box door. It will look more to scale due to it being thinner. I really do like your work on this one though. I just tried masking off for my first stripe job and it didn't turn out as nice. Any advice on how to do it well? Later-
pancho1969
Thanks for all the compliments guys . It took my close to 40hrs of taping and untaping and a whole 2min of painting . Later- Thanks modlbldr I never thought of using a can for the glove box thanks for the tip I'll use it for sure. As far as the striping just keep practiceing and find u some 1:1 cars that have the type of paint job your going for and use them for reference. Hope this helps if not feel free to ask some more questions

ScrappyJ
Ditto! I like the color and the graphics go well with it too. The wheel combination and detailing is nice too (steering wheel, open glove box, trunk with the speakers, etc.).
