A. Justin de Carburetor
A brief " before, during and after" post showing an M2 Castline Clearly Auto-thentic's 1954 Chevrolet Bel-Air going through the process of being colored/painted black. Thanks for looking... In the original packaging... Out of the reusable display box... All parts and pieces laid out, ready for the work to begin.... (Chassis is the only diecast piece) Felt-tipped black marker used, beginning with the engine compartment and interior floor... Roughing-in the tires, doors, steering wheel, hood, and main body. Nearly completed parts except for the car's top ... With top completed, everything's done except for finer finishing details and reassembly..... (Gloss black acrylic paint used to reach areas inaccessible by the marker; also, some areas cannot be reached by either) The end result..... Edited March 4, 2010 by A.
