Hello, Pat! I've had to make an opening similar to what you need to..... What I did was to glue something where I wanted the opening to be in the shape I needed. Once the shape was glued in place, I simply scribed around it!

Recommended reading for a lot of literature teachers is 'Lord of the Flies'...........

The painting of the body may be the most nerve wracking part of a build, but it can also be the most rewarding............ I say 'paint that badboy!' If you do get less than perfect results, just use what you've learned to make the next one better. I look forward to the paint process, myself.........
