Funny, I don't remember any Corvette having 6 lug wheels. Of course, since you do state AFTERMARKET, they aren't genuine Corvette wheels anyway, they are probably just some cheap knockoff of a standard GM Rally wheel, and more than like a 6 lug Chevy truck, and the last I checked, the Vette WASN'T A TRUCK!!!

He's probably just talking about these.... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wvi-35-580604/overview/

Chuck, that Mustang is absolutely stunning!!!!

Thanks, Peter! Resto's about six years old, and unfortunately, so was the gas (local garage just un-stuck a valve and drained the tank, got her indigestion fixed). Muffler is original and rough, think I'll get her a new exhaust. Aircraft-style belt buckles are also all wrong, and the armrest replacements are pretty low-quality. Looking to fix it all.

Some bias-plies would look soooo killer on this car, but it has a fair modicum of drivability on its Michelins that'd probably go right out the window with the U S Royals that caught my eye. Prob'ly gonna check into some radial pinstripe whites at least.

I didn't say the corvette was a truck and I didn't say theyre off a corvette I said AFTERMARKET meaning a different manufacturer makes corvette rally wheels in 6 lug. The ones I would be ordering would be the ones that Jason posted in the link from Wheel Vintiques which is a good company so they aren't "just some cheap knockoff."

For a while, I had these two. Tough economic times forced me back to having just the GTI. It's an '86 with a few assorted upgrades, and around a quarter million miles on the odometer. The other was my '77 Blazer Chalet, an impulse purchase that was supposed to turn my Colorado tent camping vacations into 'farther backroads' adventures. But, not enough money to devote to further restoration, and the thing only got around 10 mpg when the price of gas went to $4.50 per gallon.

Got some updating to do since it's been awhile :)

Sold my '93 Trans Am for $5,000:

Bought this 119k original mile '98 Ram 1500 SLT Laramie for $1,800:

and bought this for $750, a '95 Firebird 3.8 V6/auto project car (one of the very few '95s to have the 3.8, it is 1 of about 300 or so).

and finally, we just brought this very rare beauty home last night! I traded my Ram for it straight up, if you know how rare this color is you'll know I got a killer deal! (Sorry, still quite a bit excited!). It's a 1998 Firebird 3.8 V6/auto in the super scarce Bright Purple Metallic. It starts as being 1 of 290, but including it's options it comes out to be 1 of 46 built w/ pewter leather, chrome wheels, BPM, hardtop, 3.8 V6/auto etc. I never thought I'd own one of these, luckily for me the previous owners didn't know what they had :D It needs a few minor things bit only has 60,000 original miles!

My boyfriend's green '95 might get an LS1 transplant, not sure what he wants to do with it. I'm restoring mine to mostly OEM factory fresh with the only aftermarket addition being some tasteful wheels/tires & possibly a true dual exhaust (it has a Flowmaster single catback muffler on it right now). I might get the V6 Sport ground effects and put them on, not sure. I'm pondering the idea of adding a Ram Air hood since I already have a Ram Air Intake box, but that will probably be it. I want to keep the original engine with the car. :)

A year ago the answer would have been an 86 Cutlass for me and 2000 Camry V6 for my wife. Camry had 230,000 miles and ran like a dream. Cutlass was custom painted burnt orange (stock 350Z color) with chrome spokes. Owned it for 10 years but just sold it a couple months back. It had straight pipes and no air so it wasn't 'kid friendly'. My 2 year old wasn't aloud to ride in it so I had to get something else. Sold the Camry because we needed something bigger.

So anyways to actually answer the question, my wife has a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and I just picked up a 2003 Civic Si. Fun car with enough power to have fun yet great reliability. I custom painted the wheels black, powder coated the calipers red, put slotted rotors on all 4 corners, AEM V2 intake. Not much so far but have only had the car for a couple months. Fun facts about the 02-05 Civic Si- it's the only Si to not be built on a Civic platform. It is also the only one built in England. It's also got a 5 speed with the shifter mounted on the dash :)

Here's my 1984 Silverado with the original paint and with 27,849.8 original miles. Only driven during nice weather never driven in snow, rain, bad weather, shopping malls and of all places wallymart.

My grandfather bought it brand new in April of 84 and had only 3.1 miles on the odometer. This truck was his pride and joy and now it is definetly my pride and joy now as I know he would be happy to still see what his truck looked like 15 years later.
