slusher
That is very different but a very nice and well detailed build. Nice work Harry you have skill...
wagoneer
Thanks for the answers to the build difficulty question. It sounds like cabinet making!
Harry P.
Thanks for the answers to the build difficulty question. It sounds like cabinet making! Actually it is very much like that, only at a smaller scale. The wood pieces are joined with mortises and tenons, finger joints, etc. It's pretty amazing when you think of the engineering that goes into making the laser-cut pieces. 62rebel
your latest ventures have definitely exposed your talents beyond plastic, Harry. well done!
Modelmartin
Very cool, Harry! That is a pretty small scale build for you but I suppose the overall size made up for it! As for the open driver's compartment - It doesn't get as cold in winter in London as it does in the midwest! It doesn't get as hot either! At least it didn't until global warming! Lunajammer
Nice work Harry. A lot of fiddly details that came together real well. I didn't know such a kit existed. I'm guessing the side slats are a safety measure so man or beast won't get squashed in a crowded street.

Kris Morgan
Now that is different and very very cool. Thanks for sharing. I think it would be kinda neat to ride around in one of these.
uncle potts
This is an expensive kit... $400 MSRP. But I got it for a lot less, it was on sale for $220. Still not exactly cheap... but better than $400! My wife says thats a rediculous amount to pay for a model..........I don't think she gets it. Tom Geiger
I'm guessing the side slats are a safety measure so man or beast won't get squashed in a crowded street. And you wonder how many actually did before they came up with them!

Harry P.
Very nice, Harry! The amount of work and attention to detail you have into that building that kit is not unnoticed! Thanks, Art. I did add a bit of additional detail and scratchbuilt bits and pieces, but even straight out of the box it's a nice model.
