freakshow12 Posted April 12, 2013 Share Posted April 12, 2013 Because they can't hook! Prime example my Mach 1 makes 300/330 at the tire. I have a 315 drag radial on it. My Shelby makes 500 at the tire with a pirrelli p zero on the back. At the track the Mach will eat the Shelby to about 1000ft. freakshow12 Posted April 12, 2013 Share Posted April 12, 2013 At a mustang meet I got to run the quarter against a 725 hp super snake. I was in my Mach. I hooked and got out hard. He spun through 3 gears. By mid track I could hear that kenne bell over my exhaust and he beat me by a fender. I trapped 109 mph he trapped 121.
