1320wayne Posted November 24, 2012 Share Posted November 24, 2012 Here are the finished pictures of a three month project. This is a Super Gas drag class car created from a Revell Cobra. I did this build with the Atlanta NNL in mind (theme was 50 years of Cobra) but unfortunately I was unable to attend. Anyway, the build was created using the Cobra kit for the body but all else was kitbashed using parts box chassis pieces. The rollcage/upper chassis was scratchbuilt using styrene tubing. The engine came from the Revell Jukebox Ford kit. A host of aftermarket parts were also used like the resin carb., Comp resins wrinkle wall slicks and TEM resin cast hood scoop. The body was stretched to accomodate the Super Gas wheelbase length. The graphics were a combination of homemade and Slixx decals. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
