MCM Regular

MCM Regular (3/6)

  1. Thank you all for the compliments!! It took lot's of time but in the end it was all worth it.
  2. I've sold quite a bunch already. You can contact me if you like to buy one. Thanks you all for your replies, really appreciate it!
  3. Hi guys, I've been crazy busy lately so almost no time to be online. I finaly got a chance to finish all the resin parts for my full function RC '87 Monte Carlo LS.A good friend of mine recently bought a Chevy Monte Carlo LS and he wanted to build one in miniature. All the parts match the original and especially the grill was hard to build and Im proud of the result. First time I worked with crystal clear resin and although it is more difficult to work with compared to regular resin the lenses came out perfect. Tiny pieces of styrene to construct the LS grill. First stage cast of the grill piece. Finished molds Finished front clip including the emblem on the grill. Created seperate head light casing casted in black resin and lenses using crystal clear resin. The mirrors and rear lights also differ from the standard Monte Carlo SS kit. The MC Aerocoupe offered the right parts and I also casted these. Next is creating the working chassis and adding a hopping mechanism.
  4. Beautifull build!! I def like the skirts it adds more elegance.
  5. Your right, let me refrain: Unbelievable no MAJOR model kit company has one out. About time someone is going to make resin copies of the Airfix version. I know I would as soon as I lay my hands on one.
  6. I had the same idea!
  7. That's ART! I really like all the creativity that went into these models making it one of a kind creations.
  8. But I read that version proportions are not right... and it is a curbside model as well.
  9. Really like what you do with customizing die cast cars. It's def something I want to get into because there range of 1/18 models is exceptional.
  10. I really like what you did with stretching the doors!
  11. Def one of the best detailed chassis I've seen so far! On the DB5: Really unbelievable that no company offers this iconic model anymore...
  12. Really like what you did with the interior gives it a real feel.
  13. Thanks guys! The driver is one of a set that comes as Locster riders: They look cool but it's hard to make em fit right but you can use needles to improve that. The music is done by a friend of mine and I always try to blend the images with the music to get the right feel. Here's the link to the video:
