She's dirty ol girl

Here's the finished Diamond Reo, still think I went overboard on the mud, but it looks ok. I started this model about three years ago, that's why theres no air or electrical lines. when I picked it back up in june, the frame of the truck and trailer was already painted with wheels and tires, as well as the trailer and cab. I didn't have the heart to tear it all apart to add the extras. as always all criticism welcomed!

thanks a lot guys, I stumbled on some weathering powders by A.I.M. at a local hobby shop and it was the last pack they had and you could tell it was old! they had 40 bucks on it and I asked the guy up front if he would take any less and he said hows 20 sound, I couldn't get the money out fast enough. anyways this is my first attempt at mud, but I give all the credit to the powder, it was super easy to work with.

Well done...Love the weathering on there now...I agree, don't take apart to correct (I can never get them back together the right way), Instead...improve (what ever you think you're lacking) on the next one. The way I see it, as we grow, the next model should be (even if only slightly) better than the last.
