ChrisPflug
If you went with 1/25 scale instead maybe the "custom" grille from the AMT '94 Sonoma would work as a starting point?

It's odd that an upscale SS would have those base model steel wheels, but the box art does show 'em. Unfortunately it also has the earlier single headlamp grille, not the later aero style grille. Unfortunately it also has the earlier single headlamp grille, not the later aero style grille. The SS S10 wasn't really an upscale vehicls, like it's Impala SS and 454 SS C1500 relatives. It was more of a dress up package (ground effects/decals) on the base model 4 cylinder S10s. Couldn't even get a V6 in it, and most of them were also manual transmission. Shame really, as it would have been far more appropriate to have it use the Syclone drivetrain, rather than the anemic 4 banger.

The s-10 ss was more then a dress up package..The ss had a lowered suspension, aluminum wheels, body colored bumpers, and the 4.3v-6. I have never seen an ss with a 4 cyl in it. The ss was replaced by the extreme and that was a body kit, wheels, and lowered suspension and a big chunk of those came with the 4cyl.. Longbox55
You're right, got the SS and Xtreme mixed up a bit. I forgot about the ZQ8 suspension, which was used on both trucks. I have seen 4 cylinder SS trucks, though, built right at the transition from the SS to the Xtreme.
