Hey, Guys......... I've always liked the Mach 1 Mustangs. I have a hankerin' to build a '71 Mach 1, but the color scheme I want to go with may take some mixing of kits..... I would like to go with a deep scarlet color with silver stripes. It's my understanding the AMT kit comes with the stripes in silver. I would rather build the better Revell kit...... Will the decals from the AMT kit fit the Revell kit? Thanks for any help......

I really like this work going on! The half Carson top is what made me say "coooool" initially! I don't believe I've ever seen that top on a '57 'bird before.........

Carl, I'm glad you asked this question! I'm finding the replies very informative..... I was taught in highschool auto tech that FI was superior to carburetors because it offered crisper throttle response, better efficiency, and has fewer parts to fail........ I guess it all boils down to personal preference? Me, I like the idea of an old MoPar or such having an EFI setup, but I enjoy seeing restomods. Carbs are cool, too, though........ the more the better!
