  3. It is a 32 Chrysler. Here are a few more angles
  4. Yes you do, Mal. Yes you do. Here is something different that was in the contest.
  5. Dave Bell of Glendale Az. took home the hardware. We also had a great treat. Bobby Royal, the Az winner of the 1965 Revell Model Car Contest brought his winning model with the awards and old magazine coverage for all of use to enjoy. It was really cool. It was his first model show in 40 years. He was just blown away on how much the hobby has changed and what we are doing today to our models. The two models he had were someting else. You could still see why his models were winners in their day. Not having what we have today and working with what he had then. They were just amazing. So well preserved. They looked great for a model that was built a year before I was born. Here is a model build by one of the girl builders in our local club. Diane Johnson. This is a girl that can Hang with the big boys. This model got her a first place in Pro Street. Last, I would like to show you the awards we had for this event. This was the work of AZ boy. Just awesome awards. And YES the awards will be like this next year, too. Hope you can join us next year. Matt
  6. Well I can say Doug. Your models will be in great hands when they get here. MINE!!! I just sent off, today, the brochure for the show. It has the Mail In entre form you need to fill and send with the models. You might want to add info on each model in case they get picked for photos for the Magazine coverage. I will take care of all of that for you. Hope to see your models there. Here is a preview of what the class awards look like this year. Matt
  7. I do not anymore, but if you cannot find any. I can hook you up with some. My web site is www.lookoutmodel.com
  8. Thanks guys. Wildrice, is this the one you are talking about? I just LOVE this kit. My next one I am going to do will have the Old Pro 72 Nova body on it. Then I want to do one with a 74 Firebird body I will be coming out with this year. Oops, I was not supost to say anything about that!!!!
  9. ME TOO!!! I really like where you are going with that streched 66 wagon. I would like to see that one when you are done. Nice idea.
  10. This is what I am working on right now. It is a Super Street class drag car. The chassis, interior & engine are all from the latest issue of the 76 Nova by AMT. It comes tubbed if no body knows about that. I just LOVE that kit. The body is a MPC 78 Camaro. The hood and dash come from the old AMT 70 Camaro. I cast the hood scoop from the old Monogram 7-11 T-Bird Pro Stock kit. The slicks are from Action Diecast Pro Stocks. I scratch made the wheelie bars. The casters are resin. I liked the casters from the Revell Pro mods so much, I took a casting of them for this kind of use. I added full on racing electronics to the interior. Next I will be moving on to the engine.
  11. Saaaah-WEEEEET!!! Nice one. Gotta love those models you can race!
  12. I never got to run this one. The track I went to closed down before we got the chance.
  13. This was my first car. I only raced it once. I did not do to good on the sodering, and it fell apart at the track OOPS!! It was funny, though. I still have this body. Might have to make a slammer out of it someday.
  14. I just wish I had a slot car track close to me to race. We were really geting into it as a family about 2 years ago, and then our track closed. MAN!!!
  15. Here is the link to the DSC2 web site. It has all info you need to know about it right there. www.lookoutmodel.com/dsc
