  1. Nice job on the daytona. I owned a 1993 year and it wasn't to bad of a car at all, much more refined then the 80s models.
  2. Cool Daytona, I have one in my stash I was thinking of trying to convert to a '93 like I used too own.
  3. Very nice. I too want to build one as a replica of my black 1:1 2000 r/t. I don't have the kit yet, I been holding out for better non curbside but probably never going to happen.
  4. Sorry for my dry humor, I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes.
  5. not to be mean or anything but I see why it got "lost".
  6. I think all I got was $40 for the 1:1 car from u pull it when my mother kicked me out of her house and wanted all my cars out too, 73 charger U code 440, 72 duster 318, sunroof car, and my grandfathers 71 dodge demon slant six basic as they ever came. If I remember right they gave me $40 per car and I had the titles to all of them! a check for $120.00 , i guess it was alot of money back in 1991 but i can kick myself in the ass now! heres a pic of the charger that went to u pull it, Im going to see if my mother still has pics of the other cars
  7. I really want a demon to replicate the one I used to have handed down from my grandfather, $40?
  8. very nice, I used to own a 71 model J with a 400 engine, car was a great sleeper in the days i had it in the 90's. Is this an old kit or is it readily available?
  9. Its kind of hard to compare a generation 2 dodge charger to a 2002 dodge stratus that I dont think even has an american made drive train in it. I couldn't even compare it to the new dodge charger because it has 4 doors. A better comparison would be the new dodge challenger, its very similar to the 2nd generation charger in that you can get it with a v6 (comparison of a 318 in 1968) or a hemi (comparison of a 440 6pack or hemi in 1968). You are correct though in that when they made that show dodge's were pretty much throw away cars back when they started that series. I know when I turned 16 in 1986 I was able to purchase a 1973 Charger SE factory 440HP magnum car with 76,000 miles with my $3.35 an hour taco bell pay for $1700.
