looking for tan leather spray paint

Recommended Posts

I've had the same challenge, and did some experimenting. Likewise, I only paint with rattle cans.

Try these:

Model Master #28136 "Fabric Tan" lacquer - I think you'll find this one to be really close.

Model Master #1954 "Light Earth" enamel - a bit darker look.

Model Master #2910 "Sand Beige" enamel - different shade, but in the same family.

All the above were obtained at my LHS.

Hope this helps....

thanks for the information. i found surprisingly that i use model master light ivory as a base coat and then krylon satin almond, and i get the color i was looking for. i found this on accident because i had sprayed the light ivory to a seat before testing it out, and when i wasnt happy i just painted satin almond on top. i also found that just painting a piece satin almond wasnt right either, so hte base coat mattered
