ToyLvr Posted March 29, 2014 Share Posted March 29, 2014 I've had the same challenge, and did some experimenting. Likewise, I only paint with rattle cans. Try these: Model Master #28136 "Fabric Tan" lacquer - I think you'll find this one to be really close. Model Master #1954 "Light Earth" enamel - a bit darker look. Model Master #2910 "Sand Beige" enamel - different shade, but in the same family. All the above were obtained at my LHS. Hope this helps.... youpey Posted April 1, 2014 Author Share Posted April 1, 2014 thanks for the information. i found surprisingly that i use model master light ivory as a base coat and then krylon satin almond, and i get the color i was looking for. i found this on accident because i had sprayed the light ivory to a seat before testing it out, and when i wasnt happy i just painted satin almond on top. i also found that just painting a piece satin almond wasnt right either, so hte base coat mattered Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
