Guest zebm1
I spun into a Flat tailspin last February due to all of tha painkillers I waz taking for the avascualr necrosis of me left hip joint. Got to repeating and forgetting where I waz.....so I's put them back in their sheds until I got my surgery March 4. Not on tha pain meds anymore but I still can't sit in one place too long, get's to hurting...sos I have ta move around...... 1st up - mid 60s Flawduh super mod, it's a bit farther along, 2nd primer and tha Ford mystery motor is coming along..... 2nd up - mid 60s Oswego type sprintcar/super mod, is also in primer; 3rd coat and another Ford mystery motor....... Hmmmm, I'm guessing there's a photo limit due to size constraints? Gregg?
RJWood
Nice work there Zebm1, Good to have you back here. Good luck on the hip joint issue, I hope you will feel better soon and be rid of the pain you are suffering. Its not easy building models when you can't stay put very long. again, Good to have you back. I've missed your presents. The Wood
MojaveRacer208
Got my interest Zeb... Don't remember where I found this, but this is a car Art Pollard was runnning from Callifornia in the mid 60s... Here are a couple of cars I have worked on... Swann's Kurtis (originally an Indy car, later shortened for sprints after roadsters took over at Indy) This car was featured in Open Wheel later. "Fresno Ferrari" at Mesa Marin...John Ryals driver: Same car a little later with Davey Hamilton driving, (excerpt from Open Wheel) I have one of the Circle Track Mag issues of the Monogram Kurtis Roadster and an AMT Watson set aside to build a pair of Supers like yours and Pollard's.
