  1. Pierre, We have the actual Le Mans winning car (Class win and 3rd O/A) here in our garage, so let me know if you need images and/or measurements...
  2. Exciting build, Dave! I have this exact 1:1 car in our garage; let me know if you need pics or dimensions... Tom.
  3. Yes, Ray, the fuel filler. Here's a better shot of the pipe that goes from filler to tank...you can almost see the entire roll bar, too, and note that here it's running in targa top mode, for some reason.
  4. Hi Ray, Here are some more angles and a higher res version of your image above...hope these help! BTW, part of the reason that the top is shaped like that is because of the "mushroom" roll bars that Ed Hugus installed in those early Pittsburgh built Cobras...
  5. Hey Ray, I'm looking at that exact car in 1:1 right now (looks different than it did in the early '60's, thank goodness...). I have several images in our archives of the car in that period when it had the roof, so let me know if you need some from different angles. Best regards, Tom.
  6. Dan - I just saw the real 1:1 car at the Petersen Museum this morning and I have to say that you nailed it!
  7. No door hinges and that big rear panel...McGee Roadster?
  8. I think you have all of the pertinent photos already, but here's one showing a better view of the front end, and one of the car in a French hillclimb, when it ran with a Targa top (I'm sure it made sense at the time...?). Regarding the color, I always assumed it was red, but I've never confirmed that.
  9. Here are a couple shots of the car running No. 18 at the 1000km de Paris in 1964, another from the TdF, and a overhead shot while the car was being updated at Chardonnet - you really nailed the shape of the hood scoop and vent, JC!
  10. Wow! Looks great. I'm excited to watch this build, as I work with current CSX2001 owner Bruce Meyer and see this car every day! Let me know if I can be of image/detail assistance. Also, If I may be so bold as to offer a suggestion - this car is the only Cobra whose rear flare actually starts in the door, unlike the FIA roadsters, and flows into the rear fender...seems goofy at first for those used to the FIA cars, but it makes sense in person...
