crazyjim
This is an Aoshima kit. It was sealed when I bought it but had no tires, so I used Ma's resin Desert Dog tires with his bead lock wheels. The wheels were treated with Alclad. The paint is Duplicolor bahama blue metallic. The kit has no engine but was designed as a 4 cylinder. I merely added aluminum rod to the muffler to make a set of dual exhausts and made a trailer hitch. The box is covered with Rustoleum texture paint to give that spray-in bedliner look. crazyjim
Thanks, Jake. If I ever get my hands on another one, I'm going to cut the hood open so you'll be able to the big block Chevy I'll stuff in there.
slusher
Awsume build Jim, nice color and really nice touch on the tires and wheels. Love the bed liner. Did the wheels and tires come with the kit?..
crazyjim
Thank you, Carl. Since there were no tires in the kit and I wasn't able to get replacements, I used Ma's Resin (Al Raab) Desert Dog tires and his bead lock wheels. The wheels were shot with Alclad.
