Mr mopar
Anybody resin cast the Two hood scoops for the 1969 barracuda 340 ? Edited June 19, 2015 by Mr mopar
High octane
I'd check with Hart's Parts.
Mike Chernecki
Yes. I bought a set a few years ago on eBay. Can't remember who it was, may have been AFXnResin (no longer in business). Seems TM Resin is selling the same parts on eBay. There may have been someone else selling these, I thought I saw them recently but can't find them now. Mr mopar
Did some looking on the inner webs come up with nothing! Someone must have made them.
drodg
I know the hood scoops you are talking about. The ones that Plymouth used on the Cuda340 package and the Cuda383 package? I noticed Keith Marks has the decals for the hood stripes. I wouldn't think they would be all that hard to form and make.
drodg
Someone else recommended you taking the Revell Charger Daytona Scoops and turn them around. That would probably work.
Mr mopar
That's a good idea but there to low!
Mike Chernecki
Here are the scoops I bought from AFXnResin a few years ago. I have seen these on eBay within the last year. The scoops are the right shape, but they are a bit big, maybe they are copied from a 1/24th diecast (Danbury or Franklin Mint)

1972coronet
I could swear that the kit had those scoops on one of its 'trees' . I built one back in c.1990 , with those scoops , and I could swear that I didn't source them from the parts box nor the Daytona . On a related note : the 1969 Barracuda hood is exactly the same hood as the 1973-1976 Dart / Dart Sport models' hood , in both "1:1" and in-scale .
