Bob Ellis
Did your kit come with the rubber band to hold down the hood? My '61 Ford kit had it. Instructions should say too.

smellyfatdude
The rad is in, the fender spears are on, the windshield is glued in place (where it's learning to become close friends with the windshield frame), and the rear view mirror is in place. I'm going to let that sit with the pins on for about five to six hours, while I saw some logs. Then I'll get up this evening and proceed to finish this one. Did your kit come with the rubber band to hold down the hood? My '61 Ford kit had it. Instructions should say too. The instructions show it, but it appears to be the only part that's physically missing from the kit. That, and the aforementioned tire burned parts are the only unuseable pieces. The windshield itself had quite a deep tire burn, and several scuffs. But nothing the full monty of micromesh and microgloss couldn't fix.
