  1. That sounds like a good lace. Unfortunately I wont be going myself though Have you got a name of the shop or a link to a website. Thanks for the info so far.
  2. Thanks gregg but I was thinking of buying it straight from a shop in New York. I think Ill wait a while and see what they can find when they are in NYC.
  3. Hello all, Are there any good model shops in New York? My mother is going there next week and I want her to pick up a few bits and pieces for me. I would like to know where they are in the main areas of new york as i dont want to send her to some dodgy part of the city. So if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated. I am looking to get one of these http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=74520 and one of these http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=74522. P.S if this is in the wrong place can the mods please move to the appropriate place. Thanks
  4. Yeah that will definately look nice when its done.
  5. Great looking build. Are you going to paint it in the official Ford colours?
  6. Thanks Enzoenvy I picked up a Challenge from ebay so i am awaiting it at the minute. I also just ordered the PE kit from stradasports so once i get them i will be able to start then. I would like to paint it in silverstone silver so i will have to find a paint thats similar. I will definately look back on this thread for inspiration
  7. Sorry for posting again straight after myself but I have found the kit for the F430 but not the photoetch kit. Can you point in the right direction as to where you got yours? Thanks a million
  8. Fantastic looking car. id love to be able to build models like that. BTW whats the fujimi kit like to build? I have only ever used italeri and Airfix kits before. Would be really interested in doing an F430
  9. That is fantastic amount of detail. It looks great. I have to check out the F430 you did. Keep up the good work
  10. Excellent looking kit. There looks to be a lot of detail in it.
  11. That is fantastic. I remember seeing this in its early stages a couple of months ago. There is a crazy amount of detail in that model.
  12. Thanks for the tips Dan. What would happen if I used different brands of paint and clear cote? I have Humbrol paints and Microscale Industries Micro Gloss. I have never used the clear gloss before so I am not sure what its like.
  13. Thanks for the heads up Chris. I didnt know about putting my name in the sig so cheers. White spirits is also called methalated spirits (I think) and its used for cleaning gloss paint from proper paint brushes. Ill try it without any watering down as its already quite thin and see what happens.
  14. Yeah it would scare the living daylights out of you. It works surprisingly well though.
