BSB Racing
Has anyone built or is in the process of building a Candies and Hughes Barracuda Funny car by Polar Lights? I was wondering what you thought of the model as far as quality? I am thinking of getting one, but would like to hear some opinions. If anyone has any pictures of their builds could you please post them? Thanks in advance, BSB Racing
Daddyfink
Other than the bodies, the Polar Lights funnies are all the same. The frames can be a bit fuzzy, but with patience, they look good. Everything else is pretty straight forward. But then again, its been a while since I built one.

gtx6970
I've built a couple of the other variants of the kit, just not the C+H car. I have ZERO complaints and the only issue I would say was getting the ft of body to sit as low as I like them to , but even with that it builds into a really nice kit. Here is mine, built 100% box stock Edited February 8, 2014 by gtx6970

booboo60
Yup, well, mayB you should get one and start while you wait for the "Ohio George Malco Stang gassers" to come out. Or get this one to have bookends, lol
sflam123
I believe the C & H Cuda kit is the same kit as the Schumacher and Mazmanian kits. I've built several of each and they build up VERY well, although as noted, the assembly of the frame can test your patience. ALL of the Polar Lights kits require some "fiddling" with the interior tinwork to get the body to sit down to give the model a proper late 60's stance. Even with the frame fussiness and stance issues, the Polar Lights kits were and remain some of the better late 60's Funny Car kits out there IMO.
