MonoPed Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 (edited) Shortly after the kit came out, I did a 3 day thrash build of a box stock Mustang for a friend. This time out, I'm building one my way. First thing was to modify the axle ends to fit a set of Tamiya Ferrari 360 Modena wheels and tires, and a set of XS Tuning brakes: Next up was filling the spoiler mounting holes in the deck lid, and fitting a thinned down '65 Mustang gas cap in place of the stock trunk emblem And to make sense of the huge rear tires, a F-150 Lightning supercharger was fitted to the kit's 4.6L, using the kit's throttle body, a tb plenum carved from laminated .040" sheet, and the kit filter box and tube cut apart and reshaped. This is one of those kits IMO that'll never grow old, because so much can be done with it. That says a lot about the car..............Good design never goes out of style!
