bluemoose
Here's the Revell '63 Impala I just finished. It's painted Tamiya gloss black and silver leaf for the rear panel and the bumper license plate inserts. The insert for the body side molding is flat white. It's a lot like building a diecast, I guess that's what it's based on. Check out my Impala collection, 1958-1967

Fisher61
Very well done, smooth and clean! Your Impala collection is very impressive, your build of the '60 really jumped out at me, I love the color!

Art Laski
That's real nice, very clean. Do you happen to know where I can find a '67 Impala Wagon? -Art

Quality stuff from nice people !

impcon
That is VERY nice!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it is missing something - a set of whitewalll tires.. they'll really bring an added touch and most of those cars back then had them. You don't want wide whiotes - just a nice set of clean narrow ones to really make that black jump out at you. Just my opinion...
W-409
Nice Impala. This Revell kit is much better than AMT's. Only AMT body is maybe a bit better than Revell's... But that 327 is looking ok, plug wires and it would look better. But anyway, nice model and that paintjob is very nice!
Zed
very clean ...as ever ! Don't like them black cars, but those Tre are my favorite year Impala
Guest
Beautiful! Ken, where did you hear it was based on a diecast? I never heard that. If so, it's a better kit than the 68 Mustang or 70 Challenger.

MrObsessive
Beautiful as usual Tom! Your builds always sit "just right"! Lowered, but not unrealistically so to detract, but add to it. When I first saw this kit (I have one), I knew it was based on the diecast as they're identical as far as the body shape. The Revell '64 Chevy has an oh so slight difference in the hardtop shape that I knew it wasn't necessarily a modified reissue. Your photos also look top notch! Peter Lombardo
Super clean and top notch. Very close to real. Great paint job...back in the day, I saw many Impala's in that paint scheme. Just beautiful.
