Petetrucker07
Im sure it would. My skills in weathering are almost non existent. I would only attempt it to replicate it as new.

Longbox55
Kind of hard to tell for sure to pick an exact year, but it's a '47-'50.
Petetrucker07
Kind of hard to tell for sure to pick an exact year, but it's a '47-'50. Thats what i was figuring. I havent been able to stop and look close at it, i want to. Its kinda hard to, its sittin along a major highway. Makes it hard to stop and get going when im loaded 80000 pounds with 65 mile an hour traffic. One of these days i will.
DynoMight
Actually I think that is a 1951.. Here's a picture from the same type of angle. I might be wrong, I might be right. But my hunch is that it is a 1951.
Petetrucker07
Its really hard to tell since they didnt change much from 47 to the 1st half of 55. Im sure ill stop 1 of these to find out more. Who knows, the price maybe right and itll be sittin in my yard. Longbox55
It's not a '51, the '51s have vent windows. The truck posted by Clayton does not have the vents. A quick guide to '47-'55 1rst doors, '47-'50 have 1 piece door glass, and a drivers side vent on the side of the cowl. '51 is a unique year, as they have vent windows and turn down door handles. '52-'55 1rst have vent windows and push button door handles. '51-'55 1rst do not have the drivers side cowl vent. That said, the doors are interchangeable during the entire run of the Advance Design truck, and it isn't unusual to see them swapped, either for replacement for a damaged door, or simply as a custom modification on the later trucks to get the 1 piece door glass.
