I am so glad my mouth was empty when I read that, I have been trying to get my hands on this kit for awhile, overall, I like it, I just cant stand the camber on the wheels and tires , I dont understand what the reason is
Danno
Hey, Johnathan! That gray, yellow and black thing under the hood is ... wait for it ... you're gonna love it ... don't put anything in your mouth you don't want the whole family wearing ... ~ ~ ~ ~ a rice steamer! You may resume breathing. dadaman
thanx guys I am so glad my mouth was empty when I read that, I have been trying to get my hands on this kit for awhile, overall, I like it, I just cant stand the camber on the wheels and tires , I dont understand what the reason is just to answer that question. the reason why the japs stretched their tyres was they had restrictions on the tyre sizes they were allowed to use. By putting on wider wheels they needed wider tyres but were not allowed to as the wheels would stick out from the fenders. So they would stretch the tyre on so that they could still use the wider wheels. The camber is used in track racing so they would use it on the road for drifitng etc. This car was build with the jap culture in mind not rice. there is a specific Jap car culture that grew from the 60s with a distanct style. i tried to capture that with this hope this helps a bit lol

Intmd8r
Hey Raees, I'm getting ready to do my own Datsun build and was wondering where and what kind of fender flares did you use? I bought an assorted flare package by Fujimi from Japan. It's going to take some work to make them fit, but yours looks like it beongs on that car. Thanks, Steve
