1959 Ford Custom 300 sedan

This is one of Tom Hoovers excellant resin kits. The build will also use the AMT '58 Edsel for all detail items, both cars have the same wheelbase so the kit chassis fits wheel with only minor adjustments. The interior is another matter. ALOT of scratch building will take place for the doors, etc. I'm thinking 2 tone paint, poverty caps, the big 352 motor, and a 3 on the tree.

Very nice - I'll be watching. One of the cars I learned to drive in was my grandfather's 59 300. Manual steering and brakes, automatic, I believe it was six cylinder, solid black with a red and white reupholstered interior.

I'd like to know how to contact the caster, too, especially a web site.

How did you cut them out?

I grind a chisel point on the tip of a #11 X-acto blade ( or you can use a dull throw away blade ) so it's not so fragile at the point , then scribe the panel lines . Resin actually scribes easily. Scribe each panel 90% through before you completely release any of the panels so you maintain as much strength as possible in the body. Take your time and remember mistakes are just a drop of C.A. away for repairs. Good luck!!
