bbowser
Ok, it's been awhile. Here's "jaws" last ride, I think it was a Hendrick car (or possibly Hendrick backed). Darrell has moved on to announcing and I think he's pretty good at it, even if he backs everything NASCAR does and he likes Kyle Busch. Thanks for lookin' and "let's go racin' boys"! slantasaurus
Very nice build of DW's #17. That said, it was far from his last ride. The #17 Western Auto cars that he drove were for his own team that he had for a few years in the 90's, after that he drove the #66 K-Mart/Route 66 car and for a few races replaced Steve Park in the #1 Pennsoil car for Dale Earnhardt Inc. Guest Markus355
nice build, really well done but I personally wish to set DW ablaze and put him out with a rake.

Very nicely done Bruce, but Ron is right with his comment. Also, I do believe the AMT kit I have of one of these is a Monte Carlo, and those didn't come back to the circuit until 94 or 95. moparfarmer
Like him or not, Darrel is quite a personality. Tonight he was inducted into NASCAR's hall of fame. Quite an accomplishment for ol DW. Guest Markus355
boogity. those words nearly send me into a murderous rage. the man is a moron, slipping rapidly into senility so he just spouts that gibberish. like i said, i hope he dies in a fire
niteowl7710
His last cars were the #66 K-Mart/Rt 66 Jeans Tauruses in 2000. Although I thought the most interesting set of #17 cars are the Revell/Racing Reflections L.E. kits that were from '97/'98 that were all sponsored via Parts America (what Western Auto became known as) but were painted in several of his old paint styles from his Budweiser, Pepsi, Mountain Dew & Gatorade sponsorships.
