Great progres! What kind of metalizer paints do you use? Keep it coming!

I used Vallejo oiled steel on the transmission and in the top I used Vallejo Air aluminum. For the block I used the black primer from the same brand. 95% of the paint that I'm using is Vallejo Acrylics........... :D .

In the past I had a lot of issues with acrylics. But I'm very impress with this brand colors are awesome and the primers are excellent.......... B)

I am thinking to use one of this pieces for the wheels. But I don't know witch one.................... :rolleyes:

This is a little bit more of my project................ :D

I painted the gas tank.......................... :blink: this is the first time that I paint this area.............. :rolleyes:

I didn't did to much........ first I encounter a situation with my airbrush...........I fix it. And today I worked on N.Y. I left my house at 4:00 A.M from Quincy M.A. and got back at 5:40 P.M. I drove both ways..................... :blink: Tomorrow Connecticut.................... :huh:

I have to agree with the first one is my vote for the wheel cover. That chassis is looking nice and so is the engine.

Those wheels are a bit square,hows it gonna roll ;) ! Awesome progress buddy

Hi every one.........yesterday I did some work on the Merc.......... I painted some parts in chrome. I used the Alclad paint.......... :blink:

I prepared the parts for the paint....... but this time I did it different........

I primed in Vallejo black primer and clear coated with Future.......... I didn't have gloss black on hand...........so I test it....... :rolleyes:

It came pretty good...... with the small parts........ with the larger parts they look good but i will tried again......... I follow the manufacturer instructions........ came heavy....... I will use more PSI......... :rolleyes:

This is a look of the some of the small parts........... ;). I like the classic look........... :lol:

Hi every one............ :D

I was cheeking the model and i found out that I make a mistake with the interior painting.......... :blink:

On the front seat i didn't follow the paint pattern of the back seat......... :rolleyes:

I start practicing to see in the future I can make real fire paint jobs. I paid a fraction of the retail price................... :D Now it's part of my painting tools........................... ;)

On the subject of True Fire.......

Get yourself the True Fire video by Mike Lavallee.....he is the Master of True Fire!

I learned how to do it from him. This is not my best work, but you get the idea......

Wow......... nice paint job...... on this one I will do a classic flame job. I have a second kit...... that one will have the true fire.
