I used Vallejo oiled steel on the transmission and in the top I used Vallejo Air aluminum. For the block I used the black primer from the same brand. 95% of the paint that I'm using is Vallejo Acrylics........... . Another pic.......... In the past I had a lot of issues with acrylics. I painted the gas tank.......................... this is the first time that I paint this area.............. and painted in chrome some areas of the engine........... I didn't did to much........ first I encounter a situation with my airbrush...........I fix it. And today I worked on N.Y. I left my house at 4:00 A.M from Quincy M.A. and got back at 5:40 P.M. Awesome progress buddy ...........Thanks Hi every one.........yesterday I did some work on the Merc.......... I painted some parts in chrome. I used the Alclad paint.......... I prepared the parts for the paint....... but this time I did it different........ I primed in Vallejo black primer and clear coated with Future.......... I didn't have gloss black on hand...........so I test it....... It came pretty good...... with the small parts........ with the larger parts they look good but i will tried again......... I follow the manufacturer instructions........ came heavy....... I will use more PSI......... This is a look of the some of the small parts........... . I like the classic look........... Also I received yesterday this toy................ I start practicing to see in the future I can make real fire paint jobs. I paid a fraction of the retail price...................
