Those old catalogs brought back some memories. I built the car chassis and the visible man and woman. My Dad built a few of the submarines. I think we all "tried" to build the V-8 engine at one time or another.

My wife is the big Allman Brothers fan in this marriage so I told her about this earlier. She just texted me that she heard Jessica on the radio so was all excited about that. Always a bummer to lose these guys that we remember listening to when we were younger and forget how old they've become.

Our microwave gave up after 20 years also. One day started to make a bad noise and there was a smell so it was time. Decided to replace the other kitchen appliances after that because they were all 20 years old too. Didn't want to wait until they broke down, especially the refrigerator.

I like it. Lots of good wiring and plumbing. Very muscular looking.

Thanks for your comments. Finally got him home and after a blood test, x-rays, and other assorted things they determined he has an infection in his guts. I'm still in the "irked" section because it might've happened on a walk and I try very hard to watch every move they make so as not to nibble on something they shouldn't. I was told it could be anything out there that was licked or whatever. Our yard is free of any toxins and I'm always out with them when they go out. I am pleased this is treatable with a couple of pills for the next week and I hope it will be fine. Just a tough thing to deal with.

Took my dog to the emergency vet this morning. Yesterday he keeled over and laid there for about 20 minutes not able to move. Freaked me out. Then the rest of the day he was back to normal. This morning he woke up puking and just laid there breathing fast and short. Waiting for the diagnosis and I don't handle this type of thing well. My other dog knows something ain't right.

Really enjoyed your pictures and modeling skills. Especially liked the Jag in its raw form before you painted it. Had no idea what you started with.

And it's not just package delivery problems. I've had regular mail problems off and on for the last few years. Magazines that disappeared, mail I sent that never got to the destination, mail that I sent 5 miles from me that took more than a month to get there. I get someone else's mail about once a month. I'm nice enough to write on the envelope and put it back in the mail. Sometimes its one of my neighbors so I can just walk it over to them.
