Snake45
Are you sure that it's factory paint? I'm seeing a reddish tint in the pic you posted so my first guess would be the Rosewood. If it looks browner in real life, it's the Castillian Bronze. I've seen pics of the Castillian Bronze where it looked like it had a brick/rust red cast in it, but the official paint chip is definitely brown, little if any red in it at all. Just took another look at the color chip book. The Rosewood is pretty brown, too--not much red in it either. Chevy had the Rosewood color in the '71 line and the chip looks the same there. If that car has a reddish tone to it in real life, it might well be a nonstandard paint.
Bob Ellis
I took the picture with my iPhone in the late afternoon. It didn't seem red to my eyes. Definitely more brown
Snake45
Try google-imaging both colors and see which looks most like "your" car. Here's the google-image for 71 Pontiac castillian bronze: https://www.google.com/search?q=71+gto+rosewood&biw=1253&bih=640&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=HXMTVPC5DIi3yATFmYLACQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg#tbm=isch&q=71+pontiac+castillian+bronze
