RodneyBad
Thanks, I've have a few cans of that Tamiya Mica Blue so I could build a Nissan Skyline in Blue. But it sure looks nice on a Sidekick. I have 3 chassis at home for the sidekick done up in a couple of ways. Stock, lifted and Low low. Now to what a few days and mask it off to to the black trim.. Modlbldr
Rodney- Beautifully smooth paint. I'm with you. I like the Tamiya quality, but not the price. I painted a 2006 Mustang that Mica Blue. It was fantastic. Went on smooth and shiny. Unfortunately, sometime after my move down to WA from Alaska, while the body was sitting in my new unventilated model area, the body warped like nothing I've ever seen before. My wife said that it looked like a teenager had stole his parents car and hit a telephone pole. I still cry a bit when I think about it.--excuse me The Samurai looks good. Chuck Most
The low one could be lower!
RodneyBad
The low one could be lower! The left one is lifted 6"+inches, middle one is stock and the right one, well, lowered. I had to channel the frame into the interior to get it that low. Plan is to use stock wheels on all of them with different off sets and tires. Guess I could go lower by using the good ole Pegasus 1109 wheel & tire set and Notch the rear frame a bit more. I'll have to look into it when I get back home Friday. They are SideKicks and I got them from HLJ.com yrs ago and they are still available now and then. http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ03819 I'm running a little short on them too, Think I only have 3 left
