L-88 propelled '69 Nova

I went with the old line "There's no replacement for displacement" with this. The 350 went into the parts box, and the L-88 427 from the Revell '68 Corvette convert. took it's place. Headers came from the B/M '69 Camaro. Done in Model Master Huggar Orange with a Krylon semi-gloss black interior. Did my trick of using washers for disc brakes on this one too. Ended up being one of my favorite builds. Did I just say that? Being a Ford guy, maybe I should have kept that to myself!

This is the car Chevy should have built. Definitely would have showed a few Hemi 'Cudas the way home!!

Joel Rosen at Motion did. Put L-88's in everything. Yenko and NicKey (the 'K' was backwards) did too.

Mid-morning when the traffic was light on Sunrise Hwy, Mitchell or Rosen would make a full pass 'test session', usually with 4:33's, slicks and open headers. Been there, saw that.

Those were WONDERFUL days....
