  1. Hi Shawn, How's it going with the Bobber Farm Truck. Have you any signs of production or getting one for me to the UK yet?

  2. Hi skipstitch,

Any further thoughts on another being made for export to the UK?

Merry Christmas by the way to you and yours.

  3. Hi skipstitch, Firstly it looks great, my sort of model, cartoonish!

Yes I'm in the UK, but as you say it could go by either boat or plane, but as a pensioner money might be too tight. But never mind that, is it a 3D creation, and what scale might it be and what sort of money?

  4. Thanks... it's a 1938 ChevroFordDodgeBros. something... Little mix of this and that. PM me and we can figure out how to get one to the UK. Guessing it would ride a boat or catch a plane...LOL
  5. Squeezed in a little work bench time for a quickie curbside Hot Rod Truck.... then spent half a day looking for my airbrush I haven't used in 15 years. What are the chances I put it away correctly cleaned?!? LOL.... Medium Blue Metallic paint with burnt orange wheels to follow. I hope.
  6. "The front fenders shake violently under hard acceleration, the drone of the archaic V8 is deafening under full throttle and the rearend pushes in every corner.... but man, WHAT A RIDE!" - A concept in resin -
  7. Thanks for the kind words... yes, the "glow" was an experiment. cool to see it came across as intended!
  8. Raif maneuvered the midcentury monolith into parking lot of the defunct motel. Tapping the plasma gauge, he smirked "More smiles per mile with plasma." The land yacht was nearly dead and other than the brilliant green neon flickering "vacancy" on the marquee.... there were no signs of life. He tapped the steering wheel, slamming the floor shift into park and killed the ignition. "Tonight, we rest ole' girl."
  9. Geemoney ... it's been a minute. Any updates for the crowd munching on popcorn? I've been working on honing my rendering skills.... but nothing in the real world. LOL
  10. Couldn't help but do a quick mockup before all the painting is done!
  11. Getting some paint on the body... this may turn into a "turn 4" diorama.
  12. Pieces fresh off the printer ready for assembly and a close up of the wire wheels. I was blown away by the see-through spokes.
  13. First up, I lurk here a lot. And redzed's AMT sprint car post inspired me to share what I've been working on. So, a million years ago (1980 something) I set about kit bashing one of those AMT kits to build a 1940's sprint car using the tail section. Pre roll bars and wings and overhead valve engines. But the problem with 1980 something was I was a teenager with a short attention span who liked teenage girls more than model cars! Fast forward a couple decades, teenage me is long gone as well as the cigar box holding all the bits and pieces for an early sprint car. But I had the bug again to build one in scale. Since I dabble in 3d Design and printing now seemed like a perfect time (that and I got a heck of a deal on a resin printer that needed testing). Below is an in progress shot during the design phase. All said, I messed with the design for about 3 weeks of evenings when I was watching T.V.
  14. Awesome... can't wait to see them filling that front wheel opening!
