  3. Just to preface : I couldn't play an instrument if my life depended on it. Likewise, I know little to nothing about the technical aspects of instruments (let alone being able to read / understand music) , so I'll defer the nitty-gritty to the accompanying link. With that out of the way - here's one of the coolest guitars EVER : the White-Parsons B-Bender . I've seen countless videos of the late Clarence playing his invention (innovation ?) with The Byrds. Then I saw Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives (fantastique band ! Forget about it !) on 15-4-2022. Now, Marty owns/curates the original B-Bender as owned by Clarence, purchased from White's widow in c.1980 by Stuart. B-Bender - Wikipedia
  4. I was wondering if the 385-Series (429 / 460) was an option for the 1973 Cougar - thanks for clarifying this. I'm planning on a 99% stock build of this kit ; I'll dig for a 351-C... unless someone offers an nice resin copy ? Would the transmission be an FMX , C-4, or C-6 ? My '70 Ranchero GT had a 351-C two barrel with an FMX.

  6. "Away with another wheel which goes Boeing ! when it hits something in its path"
  7. Time to fix the fence, now that the horse is out of the stable
  8. As @iamsuperdan mentioned : different shades of black and different finishes. I've used Tamiya's NATO Black and the same's Rubber : Black for various black tones/shades.
  9. On The Corner by Miles Davis is one of my favourite albums, and its cover art is splendid
  10. Psycho is the title of a great song by The Sonics
  11. 'Tuesday Afternoon' ( whose whole title is 'The Afternoon : Forever Afternoon ( Tuesday ?) ) by the Moody Blues is one of my all time favourites
  12. GA4 Light Gunmetal (same as Plymouth's Winchester Grey) is going to look dynamite on your build. I've been contemplating that colour for my next build - but with the orange / black interior (the only other factory correct option for the bucket seat interior) . Keep up the nice work !
  13. I believe that you're subjectively correct : IIRC, the Turbo Jet 400 (402) and the 454 weren't available with California emissions. The 350 four barrel was the top engine ; maybe the 400 Turbo Fire (SBC).
  14. Changed my mind half way through seppuku , now I'm half the man I used to be
