customsrus
ok did some work to the intake manifold and carbs. Added more tubing to the cross ram to make it higher (bottom of carbs where hitting valve covers). Added some details to carbs such as gas inlets and vacuum ports. Also modified the brass tubed intake with a different mounting flanges for the carbs. Now which intake do I use? Decisions, Decisions. W-409
I like them both, but I think, I agree with Mike. That one just looks better. And project is very interesting, keep it going. I want to see this one finished. Your talents are awesome, all of the modifications, and scratch made parts just look very cool!

customsrus
Got the chassis painted and worked on the exhaust. Had to shorten the exhaust to fit the modified chassis.

Chuck Most
SHAME ON ME for not checking in on this build more often! I can't pick a favorite intake setup, they're both mind-blowing. Might need to try such a setup on one of my hot rod models.
crazyjim
How did I miss this build before? Nice work going on.
customsrus
Well I dont have alot to update. I been working on the 68 Banshee and the mid engine corvette, but now they are complete time to get back to this build. Was looking at the body today and I see that the body has warped, when it is on the frame and on all fours you can not tell it, but sitting the body down on its own, man it looks bad. Dont know whether to fix it or just make the best of it. What do you think.
customsrus
Well I tried to fix this twisted body using warm water to twist back into shape. But with no luck, but it did crack in several places so I had to get out the saw and start hacking, hopefully I can safe this. Will post pictures of progress asap. Wish me luck
cortinanut
Hope you can solve the warp and cracks. This is a phenomenal model! I'm not usually into custom stuff, but this stands to be a mind-blower.

customsrus
Well ended up having to slice and dice this front end to make it look right. Will have to work on the wheel arches, but it looks much better to me. Thanks Before After Drivers Side Passenger side
