Harry P.
Early meeting Monday AM... so I better get this one going now, cuz I won't have time tomorrow morning. So anyway... real or model? And yes, I did Photoshop out the license plate... I don't want to give you guys an obvious clue! The answer: REAL!

Guest
There are clues to indicate either way, so I am going with my gut level feeling, real.
george 53
Welp, it COULD be an Otaki 1/12th scale model of one of the UGLIEST Mustangs ever made, or it COULD be a REAL version of one of the UGLIEST Mustangs ever made.Hate to hurt Envious's feelings, but 71 on up, they ceased to be "Pony cars" AND attractive! The 70's were NOT kind to the Mustang! 70 was the LAST year they were attractive for that decade!!! And to me, the headlights are what make it look REAL to me! lonewolf01
theres lots of things that make me say real. but mainly the tires

George, You just certified that you are crazy 69-73 are my favorite for the fastbacks. Coupes not so much but the fastbacks YES. I even liked the Mustang II fastbacks. I'd drive the wheels of off one. I feel the Mustang died in 1987. I never have liked the euro style lights on the 1987-1993 and don't care for the body style on 1994-current. Guest promodmerc
Model...... There is NO weight on the tires. Probably because it is a show car now and is driven on and off a trailer. Or all the weights are on the inside of the wheels so that chrome doesn't get messed up.

george 53
Welp, Danner, I shorely ain't NEVER denied I wasn't, but then again, you know what THEY say, 'Birds of a feather......." And I think the last pretty Mustangs died off in 1970, but then again, that's ME,,,,,again.
Guest promodmerc
You misunderstand my comment... The tires are not bulging under the weight of the car... I'm a 1964-1/2 to 1973 Mustang nut. I know a real when I see it. As far as I know, no one makes the new BFG radial T/A's in scale. That is one of the major give aways for me
FujimiLover
If a license plate is blocked out, I'm saying real to this one. Usually you wouldn't care about license plate on a model. Mentioning something being obvious or not, usually means it is. I say real on this one!
ABC Auto Industry
I want to say "model" because of the hood lines, but I'm going with "real". In response to George: If you thought this was bad, just take a look at the '74 Mustang.
1955chevy
I say real

Roadkill2525
I'd go with model after George H. brought up the idea of the 1:12 Otaki kit.
