  1. I read on the forum somewhere, I think it was in Q n A, that the Beetle tires were popular tires to use as front runners on dragsters....... I'm offering a set of five tires up to anyone that wants them! The Beetle kit I'm using the pan from for my Coyote X build is where they are from, the Tamiya Beetle........ or, if you just want them for a Bug build or something else, either way is cool........ Just let me know!
  2. Blockheads were an enemy of Gumby.........
  3. I'm glad you like my idea! I just cut the pieces square with a metal ruler, then rounded the corners with nail clippers.....
  4. Swashbuckler 'Black Beard' is said to have buried a bunch of loot along North Carolina's coast........
  5. Just finished an endurance championship on my driving game......... 1000 miles! Took me three days to complete, off and on. Two of the tracks were the Nurburgring (25 laps) and the LeMans circuit (35 laps) along with two other courses.....
  6. Cool, guys, I'm glad you're enjoying this one! Now, what to work on next......................
  7. Now I might should tell y'all that 'eskimo' isn't PC anymore....... they prefer 'Inuit'..........
  8. Thank You! I really envy those of you that can work these older kits into something nice........
  9. "Tonight, Tonight" is a really good song by Smashing Pumpkins, but it wore thin hearing it a dozen times daily........
  10. Sometimes my builds kinda bridge the gap between being a hot rod and being customized..... I guess this one kinda does that! I removed the running boards and shod it with the wire wheels from the '62 T Bird. The interior is decorated a bit with cut outs from a styrofoam plate...... I hope you guys find my ol' Plymouth groovy, and thanks for looking and any comments!
  11. Reality is the 'weird beards' have delicate sensibilities............
  12. I got some really good advice from a builder once that did a lot of heavy mods and such...... He said the best way to see how your work will look painted is to put on a light coat of paint! Usually swelling and ghosting only show after the paint is applied.... Putting on a LIGHT coat of paint will show what needs to be fixed.....
  13. Bill, I hope it works out where you can get one of these, what seems like, very capable machines! Building it should be a cinch for ya!
  14. Sessions of the Grateful Dead jamming would have been lost forever if it wasn't for bootlegs........
  15. Moe. is a good band, Bill........ Here's a link to their wikipedia! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moe_(band) Most of their music is jam-based, I know that's not everyone's cup o' tea.......... You do know what a 'jazz cigarette is, I trust?
