cortinanut
That's great work! Not the easiest of subjects, either, which makes it all the more impressive.
sjordan2
Just excellent. Before I saw the model in Kate's hands, I thought it might be the 1/12 Airfix/MPC version (which, incidentally, has just been reissued by Airfix at $140.00).

charlie8575
I wish I could've gotten my 8th graders when I was teaching to do stuff like this. It was hard enough getting them to concentrate on schoolwork, nevermind this! Beautiful work, and definitely something to be proud of, Kate. Please keep building and try to interest your friends. It's a wonderful hobby and a great way to learn, too. Charlie Larkin

Lovefordgalaxie
WOW!!! She can be real proud of her Bentley!!! This gives me hope for the future, specially when you compare with what other kids use to do with their free time. Well done young Lady!!! fiatboy
I hate to be a Negative Ninny, but I do believe a Blower Bentley never won a race. But, yes, Bentley dominated Le Mans for the years '28 to '32. But guess what, I just got this same kit from Hobbylinc 3 days ago! And in addition: One of the model car magazines did a build-up of either the 1/12 kit or the 1/124 kit, I forget which one. I do not know if this was helpful but I hope so.
