Wow! This is a neat conversion!

This would have made a sharper looking convertible than the regular Dodge Coronet IMO. ;)

Ditto on using a larger boot...........I'd extend the tulip panel back a few scale inches. But then it IS a concept........who says it has to have a functional folding top?

Back in High School, A freind of mine,Lonnie Darton, had a BRAND NEW 69 Dodge Coronet R/T convertable that was about 2 months old when the got into a wreck. He had the WHOLE front end replaced with the sheetmetal from a 69 Charger, it TOTALLY interchanged with the stock front end, a VIOLA! a Charger Convertable!!! The ONLY dif was it didnt have the sculpted vents in the doors, but the 3 laser type tailights (that's what I call 'em) of the Coronet flowed PERFECTLY with the lines of the car! It WAS BEAUTIFUL, and I've NEVER seen another one. Just photo shop the Charger front onto a Coronet body an you'll see just how well it flowed, and HOW NICE it looked!!! Too bad Chrysler din't try it, they'da sold a ton of 'em!

Charger convertible is the car they should have built. It loses the unique roof line, but who cares?

Well, now that I figured out my password, I'm taking over the thread on my car! I did some browsing for Chargers and ran across a model of a red '69 Charger convertible!! It was built as a factory concept car, stock other than the top. So I decided to take my car in another direction. It will be a modern supercar convertible Charger. It will have a Viper drive train and complete Viper suspension. What do you guys think?
