gasman Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 this was my only build of the year. this is Revell's 1941 Chevy Truck. flipped the front axle to get it lowered. replaced the kits straight six with the Caddie V8 from the Revell 49 Mercury. the paint was an experiment. I started with a primered body. brushed on Acrylic black. then covered that with Rustall. then wiped it off and I got the finish you see. One of these days I'm going to try a build like yours, got a friend who has an old 1950 chevy 1 ton he using for his lawn serive and it would be cool to build it.
